My name is Jessica and I have been professionally walking dogs for over fifteen years. I’ve been lucky enough to have owned quite a menagerie too over the years!
Dogs especially though have always been special to me and have been a huge part of my life and over
the years of walking I have acquired much knowledge & understanding of dog behaviour and gained experience of many varied breeds in that time too ~  from Wolfhound to Pug, Dachsund to Bernese Mountain Dog ~ each and every one of them very different but equally special in their own unique way ❀️🐾

If you're interested in finding out more please don't hesitate to call or text me as I am always happy to answer any queries regarding dog walking and behaviour. If you'd be keen to follow up with a meet & greet at your home or even at a local park with your dog of course, then paperwork i.e. police disclosure, insurances, t & c’s will be provided at this point for the owners perusal. References can be supplied on request. No obligation to commit to anything at this point.

Despite this necessary formality, I do have a very relaxed & approachable nature and quite likely will be good pals already with your dog! After this initial meeting, if everyone is happy including the dog of course then a date is set where I’ll do a trial walk ~ entirely complimentary and with just one or two very well behaved dogs for company to see how the new dog settles. To date I’ve never had a dog that never enjoyed that first experience!! From then on I can absolutely guarantee that I’m always collecting very buoyant happy dogs that are as desperate to meet up with their new pals as they are to explore the Forest!πŸŒ²πŸŒΏπŸ‚πŸ Also the positive comments at this early introductory stage from all my clients over the years tells me I’m doing something right!!

On a practical note all towels, treats, water to drink, toys, balls (& cuddles) are supplied by myself. I always carry spare leads/harnesses & can even supply waterproof dog coats. Naturally the ‘dog mobile’ is well heated, has air con, is fitted with dog seat belts and is extremely comfy & cosy with very well-padded washable bedding to lie on.
Whilst a work van, extras have been added to make it more ‘car’ like with windows to the side and back, glazed sliding doors to both sides so no dog has to enter & exit on the roadside and finally two safety doors at the back as opposed to a tail gate.
I rarely use crates but understand that not all dogs are suited to being in very close proximity with other dogs whilst in transit - so for my safety and peace of mind and for the dogs too, using the crate(s) might be necessary for some - usually for an exuberant puppy or just a nervous traveller.

Finally from collection, the walk itself and to drop off dogs can be with me for upto two and a half hours ~ but the excitement starts from the minute they enter the van, although enroute home they’re all pretty much comatose, giving it the big zzzz’s!

Think that covers everything but please feel free to get in contact to find out more ~ always happy to answer any questions 🐾
